What is a Parked Domain Name?

Parked Domain Name

Parked domains are Domain Names that point to your Primary Domain. There is a significant difference between these two types of domains.

For example, you could point the parked domains: wcloudhosting.net, wcloudhosting.biz, wcloudhosting.org, to your main account wcloudhosting.com.

It’s often used by businesses that want to have more than one web address for advertising purposes.

Domain names must be registered with a valid registrar before they can be parked. In addition, they will do nothing unless they are configured to point to the DNS servers of the same name as your primary domain.

How to set up a parked domain ?

If you need to park a domain 'parked.com' to yourdomain.com, use the following procedure:

- Log into your Control Panel interface

- Click on "Parked Domains"

- Enter the domain name to park in the "New Domain Name" without www.

- Click the "Add field". A message will appear once the domain name has been added.

How to remove a parked domain?
